And the Lord said: Let there be proof!

 O mighty Lord, thou art but as old a concept as traditions past,

         Sequestrating relevant values and skepticism.

Why can't thou show thyself to your humble servants?

         Perhaps because we serve thy full authority, without question?

                  Believe we must, faith invigorated so shall we – or at least repent;

                           So saieth he the priest, she the nun.

No need for proof?

         Poetry bringing forth evidence of You, the Lord of heaven & earth?

                  No, human strive to find beauty bears poetry.

         Apparitions showing us the way through this maze called Life?

                  No, riddles solved by the curious mind,

                           discovering knowledge, not believed knowledge;

                                    scientifically proven knowledge, or until falsified by

contrary evidence.

Perceptions of truth, as is beauty, and so is love, are relative.

No absolutes, but thy Will: dogma.

O, allmighty God! I now understand! I have been enlightened!

         Thy will be done when mankind arrives at one conclusion:

                  Ye have created Adam & Eve to disprove your existence.

Amen.
